L-1 Intracompany transferee visa: L-1 visa is available when a foreign Company who also has affiliated company in the United States and temporarily transfer their executive, manager and “specialized knowledge” employees to work in the U.S based affiliated company. L- visa may also be an option when a foreign Company needs to establish new office in the United States and transferring its employee in executive or managerial position to establish that office. L-1A visa issued to executive or managerial position and L-1B visa issued to employees who have specialized knowledge.

General Requirements to file L-1 visa:

• Transferee must have been employed by the foreign company at abroad continuously for oneyear within the three proceeding years.
• Foreign company and U.S. Company must have relationship of parent company, subsidiary, branch or affiliated company.
